J&K Records Highest 1-Day Spike Of 1079 COVID-19 Cases, Tally Reaches 39943

SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir recorded 1079 new coronavirus cases in a single day on Thursday taking the total tally to 39943.

An official said that 1079 new positive cases of novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), 622 from Jammu division and 457 from Kashmir division, have been reported today thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 39943. Also 11 COVID-19 deaths have been reported; 03 from Jammu division and 8 from Kashmir Division.

Moreover, 680 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals, 104 from the Jammu Division and 576 from Kashmir Division.
