SRINAGAR: The University of Kashmir has scheduled Entrance Test-2020 from September 9 at six locations across the valley in two shifts.
According to the notification, the aspirants were asked to download the admit cards from the varsity’s websites https://ift.tt/SwADo5 and kashmiruniversity.ac.in from September 3 after 2 pm. However, aspirants for M P Ed will be able to download the admit cards only once the Directorate of Physical Education conducts the Physical Efficiency Test notification will be issued separately.
The notification said that the morning shift shall start at 11 in the morning and evening shift from 2 pm in the afternoon while the entrance test shall conclude on September 27.
The Candidates must check their Roll Numbers and Centres allotted with the General Centre Notice, available on the University Website well before the commencement of the Entrance Test, it reads.
An official said the test shall be conducted at six locations including Kashmir University, Women’s Degree College Anantnag, Degree College Pampore in south Kashmir, KU’s Delina Campus Baramulla, and Abdul Ahad Azad Memorial Degree College Bemina in Srinagar and Degree College Kupwara in north Kashmir.
It reads that as a precaution for COVID-19, the candidates must reach entrance test Centre an hour before the commencement of the test and should enter the premises of the examination hall at least 15 minutes before start of entrance test.
“The candidates are advised to follow distancing while entering the examination centre. The Proctorial wing of the University is authorized to fine such candidates who don’t follow the COVID-19 SOP procedure,” reads the notification.
“The candidates are advised to disburse after the examination is over and should leave the examination centre immediately,” it reads.
It reads that a candidate shall be admitted to Examination Hall only on production of a) Admit Card downloaded from Kashmir University website, and b) valid photo Identity Card.
“Electronic devices like Mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, Calculators, Electronic Watches, etc. shall not be allowed in the Examination Hall and no arrangements for depositing the same shall be available in the examination hall. Possession of any such gadget shall invite action under rules,” reads the notification.
he aspirants have been asked to follow the necessary precautionary measures including social distancing at the test centres in view of the COVID-19 pandemic.
They have been asked to reach the test centres an hour before the commencement of the test and disperse immediately after the test failing which they will be fined.
