Govt approves recommendation of Price Fixation Committee under MIS

Department of Horticulture, Planning and Marketing today informed that the government has approved the recommendation of Price Fixation Committee under Market Intervention Scheme (MIS) and consented to the continuation of apple produce rates as already notified in October 10 this year till December 31, 2019.

Accordingly, for Extra class, Delicious Apple variety Rs 70 per kilogram would continue to be the selling price with cardboard trey packing.

Whereas, Rs 60, Rs 44, Rs 24 per kilogram shall remain the rate for Grade A, Grade B, and Grade C Delicious Apple variety with wooden grass packing respectively.
