Advisor Sharma reviews pace of developmental works in S P College

Advisor to Lt Governor K K Sharma on Monday visited S P College and reviewed the pace of progress of various construction works going on in the college.

The Advisor inspected S P College Auditorium which is being constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 5.44 crore. The Advisor visited a new classroom building, which is being constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 4.68 crore and is at the last stage of completion. He also visited the newly constructed canteen building, which has been completed at a cost of Rs 45.04 lakh.

The Advisor said that providing better infrastructure in educational institutions is the top priority of the administration and the new constructions will provide better facilities in the college.

The Advisor said that S.P College is a premier institution of Kashmir that has produced various stalwarts in different fields. While interacting with the college administration he said that he is always available for the faculty and students to get their feedback for further improving the working and infrastructure of the educational institute.

The Advisor was accompanied by principal S P College, principal Women’s College M.A Road and various other officers.

Later, the Advisor interacted with Vice Chancellor, Cluster University of Kashmir and discussed several academic plans for the said university.
