A youth has been shot at by unknown gunmen in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Sunday evening. In the incident, a 25 years old youth identified as Sameer Ahmad Ahanger sustained bullet injuries on leg.
Reports said that unknown gunmen fired upon Sameer, a resident of Mir Sahab Mohalla, in Old Town area of the district. In the incident, Sameer sustained bullet injuries. Initial reports suggest that he was fired on the leg, however, there was no official confirmation on it.
Soon after the incident, Sameer was shifted to a nearby district hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, police have taken the cognizance of the incident and further investigations are going on.
