The death toll in Mughal road accident has mounted to four after two more injured passengers succumbed, officials said.
Reports said that a vehicle on way to Shopian skidded off the road and plunged into a gorge in Lal Ghulam area near Peer Ki Gali, resulting in injuries to more than ten people.
The vehicle was carrying over 13 passengers, said an official, adding that the rescue operation was launched immediately after the accident.
He said the injured persons were rushed to district hospital, where from six critically injured persons were shifted to Srinagar hospital for specialized treatment.
