A National Conference (NC) activist was injured after shot at by unknown gunmen at Palpora village in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Saturday late evening.
Reports said that unknown persons fired upon the NC worker namely Ali Mohd Yatoo (70) at his residence in Nawnagri area of Palpora.
An official said that he has received bullet on his right leg and was immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment.
Soon after the incident a joint team of army and SOG launched a cordon-and-search operation in the area to nab the assailants.
