Lightning kills more than a hundred livestock on Monday in Tumana area of Chowkibal in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
According to the reports, the nomads, who had arrived in the area two days ago, had erected temporary shelters in a nearby forest. They had kept their livestock in the open sky.
A team of district administration and police has been deputed to the site to inquire into the incident and to access the losses.
