Ifshan Khanday a young hotelier and entrepreneur of Kashmir, resident of Nowgam, area of Srinagar passed away in Chandigarh on Monday.
Reports said that Khanday had gone to Chandigarh and was staying at a hotel there. When the hotel management opened the door to the room they found Khanday unconscious.The hospital authorities declared Khanday brought dead.
Ifshan was running a hotel Pine Rich hotel in tourist destination Gulmarg.
Reports also said that it could be probably a massive heart attack, but the cause of the death is not known yet. The dead body has been shifted to the hospital for further medico-legal formalities.
Meanwhile, National Conference working President Omar Abdullah has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the demise of valleys prominent young hotelier Ifshan Khanday who died of a massive heart attack in Chandigarh.
Expressing shock and grief over Ifshan’s demise, Omar Abdullah extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for peace to the departed soul.
