On world leprosy day, Srinagar downtown-based Shaheen Sports Syndicate on Tuesday distributed kettles and woollen clothing among Lepper patients and organised leprosy awareness program at Khust Asharam Bhagwati Nagar Jammu.
While addressing a gathering at Bhagwati Nagar Jammu, Chairman Shaheen Sports Syndicat Showkat Ahmad Khanyari said that from downtown Srinagar Kashmir they went Jammu to serve leper patients on this day, and the organisation will continue to serve people for their betterment and prosperity.
The chairman SSS said that the distribution and awareness program has an important role to educate people about leprosy disease and leper patients.
“It’s our moral duty to help the downtrodden people of Jammu and Kashmir and that’s the reason we always come from Kashmir to help needy people in Jammu” he added.
Khanyari also highlighted the role of JK bank in their assistance to social service and appealed people to strengthen their bonding with JK bank.
