The speaker Kavider Gupta on Monday adjourned the House for 10 minutes due to lack of quorum in the Legislative Assembly.
As the MLA from Pawan Gupta was speaking on grants of Social welfare department, the speaker adjourned the House citing that there was no quorum in the House.
The maximum members from ruling party as well opposition parties were not in the House during the discussion on grants of Social Welfare.
Interestingly, it is mandatory to have the presence of 23 members in the House to run the proceedings.
