A minor accidentally strangulated himself to death Sunday in Budgam after a head scarf tightened around his neck while playing on a swing, police said.
Police said nine-year-old Qaisar Ahmad Dar, son of Bashir Ahmad Dar of Hairpora Brinjan was swinging when a head scarf came around his neck and fastened.
He was rushed to sub district Chadoora where he breathed his last.
