Two militants were killed after a fierce gunfight broke out between militants and government forces in Bagender Mohalla area of Bijbehara in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Thursday early morning.
The police spokesman said that two militants were killed during the encounter, However, the identity and affiliation of the slain militants are yet to be ascertained.
Meanwhile, mobile internet was suspended in Anantnag for precautionary measures.
