Father-in-law of News editor Radio Kashmir, Abdul Samanad Dar, passed away on Wednesday at his residence in TarhamaTangmarg area of Baramulla district in north Kashmir.
Dar is a father-in-law of Mushtaq Ahmed, who serves News Editor at Radio Kashmir.
According to a family source, Dar was unwell from a long time and breathed his last at his residence Tarhama Tangmarg around 4:00 pm today. Dar was buried at his native graveyard at Tarhama after Eisha prayers around 8:00 pm.
He said people from various places of the area participated in the funeral prayers and prayed for peace to the departed soul.
