Clashes erupted after police used force to disperse the family of a missing youth who staged a protest in Kunzer area of north Kashmir’s Tangmarg.
Reports and witnesses said a family of a missing youth Shakir Mushtaq Sheikh 19, a resident of Turka Batpora in Kunzar, who went missing on Thursday morning blocked the road and seeking his whereabouts.
They said Police swung into action and chased away the protestors, triggering clashes.
An official said that the youth is missing since Thursday morning and family has filed a missing report in this regard.
“Investigation has been started in this regard,” he added.
