In a bizarre incident that happened in Shimla, a capital city of Himachal Pradesh on Thursday, a mob ransacked Kashmiri shops after severed head of calf was allegedly found in the market, reports claimed.
In a 3: 21-minute video, which is widely being circulated on social media networking sites, hundreds of the people are seen outside the shops and some of them throwing outside the belonging from the shops amid sloganeering in Rohru Tehsil in Shimla district.
The angry mob allegedly broke the shutters of the shops with hammers, iron roads, and sticks and ransacked the shops. but the traders alleged that no one among local administration has come on the front to tackle the grave issue.
However, some reports suggest that police have taken the cognizance of the case and some of the people have been called for questioning and further investigations are going on. The police reportedly have registered an FIR, including sections in the Indian Penal Code related to attempts to outrage religious feelings and promote enmity between different groups.
