Forces on Sunday launched a cordon-and-search-operation (CASO in Tujjar area of Sopore town in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

Reports said that a joint team of army’s 22 RR and Special Operations Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir Police launched the operation following inputs about the presence of militants in Tujjar village.
They said that a large number of troops have been deployed in the area and door to door search operation has started in the area.
The search operation was going on when the last reports came in.
