8-Year Old Cancer Patient Needs Help

Srinagar

Abrar Ahmad Khan, an 8-year-old poor boy from Takipora village of Lolab in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district diagnosed with “Acute Lymphoblastic leukemia” – a type of blood cancer – is undergoing treatment at Sher-I- Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences Soura Srinagar.

Abrar is on chemotherapy and has already spent a huge amount of rupees so far.

Abrar’s father is labourer by profession and now is not in a position to afford the costly treatment.

Abrar’s elder brother Shahid Rasheed Khan 15, was also suffering from the same disease and later died in 2013. The family put in a lot of efforts and mobilised a lot of resources to manage that problem which has literally drained the family.

The family is in dire need of financial help and has appealed to the general masses to help the sufferer on humanity basis.
