A wreath-laying event was held on Saturday in District Police Lines Srinagar where tributes were paid to the CISF slain ASI Rajinder Prashad No. 814481208 CISF, who was killed during last night at Wagoora Grid station Nowgam in firing by unknown militants.

A police spokesperson in a statement said that senior officers of Police,paramilitary forces and civil administration including ADGP Armed A.K. Choudary -IPS, ADGP Law & Order/Security/Home Guard Shri Munir Ahmad Khan-IPS, DIG CKR V.K. Birdi-IPS, DIG CRPF North Karan-Nagar Srinagar Shalinder Singh, DIG CISF (PSO) S.C Bota Kutiee, DIG CRPF Panthachowk Rajesh Dakarwal, SSP Srinagar Imtiaz Ismail Parray-IPS,DC Srinagar Syed Abid Rashid Shah-IAS, and other officers laid floral wreaths on the mortal remains and paid rich tributes to the slain who made supreme sacrifice in the line of duty.
