Panchayat Ghar set afire

Unidentified persons on Saturday late evening tried to set ablaze a Panchayat Ghar in Nowpora village of  Sopore town in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

A police official said that a panchayat building was set on fire in Nowpora area of Sopore late Saturday by unknown persons.

Fire tenders were rushed to the spot as soon as the news of the incident was received, he said.
