One person was injured when the vehicle he was travelling in plunged into a gorge near Lagama village of Uri in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Monday.

According to sources, an Alto 800 car bearing registration number JK05F- 8782 met with an accident at Lagama village Uri town on Srinagar –Muzafrabad road, as the vehicle skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge.
The injured was shifted as Sub-district Hospital Uri for treatment and has been identified as Jagmohan Khajuraya a resident of Lagama.
