A 17-year-old boy was killed another sustained pellet injuries after clashes broke out between government forces and youth in Shopian district on Wednesday.
The clashes erupted soon after the encounter broke out between the forces and militants in Chaigund area of district Shopian.
Reports said that two teenage boys sustained injuries after the government forces used teargas shells and pellets to disperse the protesters.
However, among the one identified as Shakir Ahmed Mir, a resident of Qalampora area of Shopian, was rushed to PHC Rajpora where he was declared brought dead.
