Suspected militants on Saturday evening lobbed a grenade on police station Shopian.
Reports said that the grenade landed close to the main gate of the police station, but there were no reports of any loss.
Meanwhile, Paramilitary forces and police have cordoned off the area and search operation is going on.
“Militants lobbed grenade near police station shopian. Area under cordon.No losss of life and property.@JmuKmrPolice,” DIG of Police SKR wrote on Twitter.
