Cordon and search operation has been launched in over a dozen villages of Shopian district of south Kashmir on Wednesday.
The CASO was launched after inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
An official said that CASO was launched in Kachdora, Chakoo, Batapur, Abahatu, Budur, Landoora, Garhind, Muradpur, Bamun, Tongrikol, Mantreibuk and Harmain areas of district Shopian.
