Senior Congress leader Makhan Lal Fotedar has passed away in Gurugram, Haryana.
He was a close aide of former prime minister India Gandhi and a former union cabinet minister.
Fotedar was born and brought up in Mattan area of Islamabad district.
He was famous for his controversial statements about Kashmir history and politics, both present and past.
