SRINAGAR
One person died while his sister sustained injuries in a road accident in Pattan area of Baramulla District this morning, a police statement said.
“A Maruti car bearing registration number DL3C-2044 turned turtle near Diver crossing, resulting in injuries to driver of the Maruti car Harjeet Singh and her sister Ranjeet Kour, both residents of Alachibagh, Srinagar,” the statement said, adding, “Both the injured were shifted to Sub District Hospital, Pattan where Harjeet Singh succumbed to his injuries. The injured Ranjeet Kour was referred to SKIMS, Soura for further treatment.”
