SRINAGAR
For the second consecutive day curfew continued in Pulwama on Friday. Strict curfew was imposed in the south town after a militant, Touseef Ahmad Dar, was killed during an encounter in Charar-e-Sharief area two days before. Dar was a resident of Pulwama.
Local sources informed Kashmir Life that the men in uniform announced continuation of curfew on loud speakers on Friday morning.
Pertinently, the locals clashed with forces on Thursday, resulting in the injuries to many protesters and the police personnel.
