An abandoned two storey building of Community Health Centre (CHC) gutted in a fire incident on Monday in Hajin area of district Bandipore.
An official said that fire broke out in the abandoned building situated just a few yards from BMO office Hajin at about 3 am.
However, fire tenders were rushed to spot to douse the flames, but not before the second storey of the building was completely damaged.
The official added that it was a 40-year-old building and had no electricity connection so it’s gutting was mysterious.
