A school building was completely gutted in a fire mishap at Sedow village in South Kashmir’s Shopian District on Thursday late night. According to reports, a massive fire broke out around late in the evening on Thursday in a school building in Sedow area of Shopian triggering panic in the locality.
The seven-room of the school building was gutted completely in the fire mishap, however, the adjacent buildings remained safe due to efforts of locals and the personnel of the Fire and Emergency services, said an official.
Meanwhile, a police official said that cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
