Four persons arrested with weapons in north Kashmir

Srinagar: Forces on Thursday arrested four persons, including the driver of a load carrier, were arrested from Chechlora area of Tangmarg in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

Reports said that a special team of Cargo and 2 RR  laid down a naka near Chichloora, Kunzar and detained four persons along with arms and ammunitions including grenades and AK rifles. A vehicle has also been seized in which they were traveling in at the time when the joint team intercepted them.

Sources identified OGWs as Jammel Ahmad Bhat (20) son of Ghulam Mohidin and Amir Ahmad Bhat (18) son of Khazir Bhat. “Another person is said to be the driver of the vehicle namely Mohd Yaseen Bhat of Pattan”.

Sources said that fourth one was believed to be a militant from Pakistan, but police confirm the arrests of only three local persons.
