5 shops go up in smoke in Kupwara village

SRINAGAR: At least five shops were completely gutted in a fire which broke out at Tarathpora area in Kupwara’s Villigam bel;t.

Locals said the fire broke out around 07:30 pm at Tarahtpora market resulted complete damage to five shops. The shops were part of a shopping complex that belongs to Ghulam Mohammad Kumar and the shops belonged to Ashiq Hussian ,Mohammad Shafi,Mohammad Iqbal and  Mushtaq Ahmad kumar.

Fire tenders put off the flames with the help of the locals. There was no report of injury in the fire. When contacted police station villigam, they said we are collecting the data and the cause of fire has not ascertained now.
