Shopian policeman posted at Kathua goes missing

A policeman from Shopian, who is posted in Kathua district of Jammu region, has gone missing, reports said on Friday.

Constable Ishfaq Ahmad, a resident of Heff Shirmal village in southern Kashmir’s Shopian district had returned home on leave.

However, it has been many days that he has not reported back to duty at DPL Kathua.

Police sources said that a report has been registered in this regard and search for the missing cop is underway.
