Raised in 1992, CRPF demolishes bunker in Soura, another in Eidgah

The Central Reserve Police Force on Tuesday removed two bunkers on Ali Jan road leading to the S-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences in Soura.

The bunkers were erected in Bahulachpora area of Soura and Saidapora area of Eidgah locality.

The Bahulachipora banker was erected in 1992, and was presently housed by CRPF’s 161 BN. The Saidapora bunker was also housed by the same battalion of CRPF.

CRPF officials said that it is a routine matter of personnel ‘rationalisation’ and nothing ‘serious’.
