SRINAGAR: Two militants were killed in an encounter with counter-insurgent forces near line of control (LoC) Tekri Nar in Machil area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Sunday.
An official said that two militants were killed by army and police near line of control (LoC) Tekri Nar in Machil area of Kupwara.
The identity and the affiliations of the slain militants could not be ascertained immediately, he said.
He added that 02 AK 47 rifles, 02 pistols and four hand grenades were recovered from their possession.
