SRINAGAR: Photojournalists were assaulted by the police in Kakapora village in Pulwama while covering the gunfight.
Reports said that Photo Journalists were thrashed by Police near Kakapora gunfight site.
A journalist who was covering the gunfight told Kashmir Life that while discharging professional duties, they were assaulted by police.
A video in which a police cop was kicking the photojournalist Qisar Mir has also gone viral on social media.

Three militants were killed in an encounter at Kakapora area of Pulwama in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Friday. Several persons were also injured during clashes.
According to police, they have been identified as Junaid Ahmad Nengroo resident of Prichoo Pulwama, Suhail Nisar Lone and Yawar Ahmad Wani both residents of Khrew Pampore, affiliated with proscribed outfits Al-Badr/LeT.
