SRINAGAR: As the surge in the Covid-19 cases continues to shut life and jam-pack the hospitals, the deaths have returned. In the last 24 hours, as many as 25 residents were killed by the Covid-19 including 14 in Jammu.
Official sources said the overall death toll in the Covid-19 has reached 2172 including 1344 in Kashmir.
The new deaths that have taken place in the last 24 hours include two death each in Srinagar, Baramulla, Budgam, Pulwama, Anantnag, Udhampur, and one each death in Bandipore, Rajouri, and Reasi. Jammu district alone has reported 10 deaths in the last 24 hours.
