SRINAGAR: For actor Hina Khan, it was a double whammy. She was shooting in Kashmir for a music video when her father died making her cancel everything and join the funeral in Mumbai.

Ms Khan had barely concluded the funeral and was thanking the people for their support during the mourning when she tests positive for Covid-19.
The Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actor is half Kashmiri. Her mother is a Srinagar resident. “In these extremely difficult and challenging times for me and my family, I have tested positive for Covid-19,” Ms Khan wrote on social media. “Following the guidance of my doctors, I have home quarantined myself and taking all necessary precautions.”
The Bigg Boss 11 finalist’s father Aslam Khan died on April 20. He died of a cardiac arrest.
