SRINAGAR: For the first time in Jammu and Kashmir, a critical cardiac intervention was carried out in Nora Hospital, the healthcare facility officials said.
Without identifying the persons, the hospital said a 70-year-old male patient with multiple co-morbidities diagnosed with 𝙂𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙩 𝙡𝙚𝙛𝙩 𝙡𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧 𝙡𝙤𝙗𝙚 𝙥𝙪𝙡𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙗𝙡𝙚𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙣𝙚𝙪𝙧𝙮𝙨𝙢 (8cm) was admitted to the supervision of 𝘿𝙧 𝙕𝙪𝙗𝙖𝙞𝙧 𝘼𝙝𝙢𝙖𝙙 𝙏𝙝𝙤𝙠𝙚𝙧 (Consultant Pulmonary critical care and sleep medicine). The patient was treated on an emergency basis in Cath lab by Consultant 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙍𝙖𝙙𝙞𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙜𝙞𝙨𝙩 𝘿𝙧 𝙄𝙢𝙩𝙞𝙮𝙖𝙯 𝘼𝙝𝙢𝙖𝙙 𝙆𝙝𝙖𝙣 with complete closure by Endovascular Amplatzer Plug Device. The whole Team of Cath lab ICU did a brilliant job in this procedure.
