SRINAGAR: An unidentified militant was killed in an ongoing operation in Ranbirgarh area on the outskirts of central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Saturday, an official said.
An official said that one unidentified militant has been killed so far in the ongoing encounter.
He said that the gunfight broke out in Ranbirgarh area of the district today early morning following a search operation.
He added that army man also sustained injuries during the gunfight.
Earlier, a police spokesman said a gunfight broke out between militants and forces in Ranbirgarh area on the outskirts of Srinagar.
