SRINAGAR: Army man died another injured when a vehicle in which they were travelling in skidded off the road on Srinagar-Leh near Ranga Mode Zojila Pass and fell into a deep gorge on Thursday, officials said.

Reports said that the accident occurred as the driver lost control over the vehicle and fell into the 200-ft deep gorge at Zojila pass in Ganderbal district.
Soon after receiving the information, police, locals reached the spot and took out the body and injured person.
The army man identified as Karan Singh died on the spot, while another person was critically injured was taken to hospital for specialized treatment, they said.
