Three minor students among five persons injured in dog attack

Srinagar

Three minor students and two middle-aged men were injured after being attacked by a pack stray dogs in Uri town of Baramulla district in north Kashmir on Monday.

An eyewitness said that a pack of dogs appeared in Uri Town today morning and attacked many people. In the incident, three students and two elderly persons were bitten and left injured, locals said, adding that the canines have spread a reign of terror among school going children in the area.

Soon after the incident, all five injured persons were shifted to Sub-District-hospital Uri for the treatment.

The injured persons were identified as Nargis Bano (18), Sayra Bano (8) Abdul Wahid (10), Reyaz Ahmed (45) and Ashok Kumar (40) year.
