PSA On JE, School Principal, Moved Out of Kashmir

SRINAGAR: The Government has slapped Public Safety Act (PSA) on two persons including a Junior Engineer (JE), reports from Shopian said.

Reports said the police had arrested a civil engineer, Manzoor Ahmad Itoo from his Durpora residence in Zainpora. He was posted locally. A few days later, he has been moved out to Kot Balwal, after Public Safety Act was slapped on him.

The family sources said that he was a routine engineer having no political association.

Almost on the same day, police had arrested Bashir Ahmad Rather, a resident of Awneera, also in the same belt. He was heading the Shah-i-Hamadan Institute, a local school. Reports said he was leading prayers on Friday also.

Reports said he has also been arrested under the Public Safety Act and moved to Kot Balwal.
