Authorities on Sunday blocked the mobile internet service in Kashmir valley following the killings of militants and civilians in Shopian and Islamabad districts of South Kashmir.
Fearing law and order disturbance, the authorities snapped the mobile internet services throughout the valley.
The services were snapped shortly after clashes broke out at many places in south Kashmir parts this afternoon.
The authorities also suspended train services in Kashmir as a precautionary step.
