Speeding Truck crushes man to death at Pantha Chowk

A speeding truck hit Fayaz Ahmad Ganai of Chandhara Pampore at Pantha Chowk killing him on the spot, police sources said on Wednesday.

The incident took place late Tuesday night in the city outskirts.

The Truck Driver, according to sources surrendered at Police Station Pantha Chowk soon after the accident.

Meanwhile, family of the deceased has refused to take the body until police conduct autopsy. The body was lying at Pantha Chowk Police Station till reports last came in.
