The Party asked the Chief Minister to explain as to who gave access to NIA and who slapped PSAs on thousands of people in the Valley.

Expressing surprise J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President G.A. Mir asked the Chief Minister to explain as to who is killing the Ideas and who is jailing the Ideas, which is something that needs to be debated, as that the Chief Minister being at the helm affairs is accountable and answerable for everything happening in the state.

Mir said Chief Minister cannot escape the responsibility of jailing thousands of people even teenagers to cool the tempers against the anti-people and wrong policies on the part of PDP led dispensation.

Mir also asked the Chief Minister to explain who is ruling the state in her presence and explain who gave excess to NIA in the state. “When CM says that detaining people by NIA will contain the Situation, but cannot address the problem, it seems quite astonishing to hear such words from the Chief Minister, which is indicative of her utter failure to deliver on the ground,” he said.

He added that “it is evident that CM is not able to rule the state, as a result, she has expressed her inability by saying that you cannot kill the ideas, who is killing the Ideas, is she not part of Narinder Modi Govt, what is she doing.?”

Pointing towards the AoA between PDP and BJP, Congress President reminded the Chief Minister of the promises made with people, “but not even a single promise was fulfilled.” He said “it is the PDP which has betrayed its mandate by aligned with Communal Forces for the sake of coming into power, resulting in deep alienation of the people.”
