Two charred bodies recovered from Pulwama gunfight site

Two charred bodies of militants have been recovered from the encounter site in Hakripora village of Pulwama district on Tuesday, reports said.

“The bodies are badly charred so identity will take some time,” police sources said.

However, JK Police on its official twitter handle has confirmed the killing of Abu Dujana, a popular Lashkar commander.

Dujana’s close aide Arif Lalehari was also believed to be trapped in the area.

Massive clashes erupted in the area soon after the gunfight started resulting in injuries to at least 15 persons.

The situation in the whole Pulwama district was tense amid the spontaneous shutdown.

Railway authorities have also suspended train services for the day
