A short film, Hardouk Ooush-Tears of autumn, directed by a young boy from Srinagar has been selected for international India film festival Spain.

Wasaf Jeelani, 24, is writer and director which has been produced by Vivek Budakoti and Rajita Sharna under the banner of Magic Lantern Productions.
Movie which is inspired from Anton Chekhov’s short story Misery, Jeelani said aims “to present a perspective on forced disappearances in Kashmir.”
Wasaf is currently assisting Megna Gulzar in his film Razzi produced by Dharma Productions and Junglee. Actors are Alia Bhatt band and Vicky Kaushal
Wasaf told Kashmir Life that he is the first person from valley to assist and also having short film selected for such a huge event.
