A policeman and a lady suffered injuries after militants attacked a police party in Islamabad at general bus stand.

Initial reports identified the policeman as Ghulam Hassan while the injured lady has been identified as Sumit Kaur.
The policeman was shifted to district hospital Islamabad where from he has been referred to a Srinagar hospital from specialised treatment.
Meanwhile, witnesses said that a photojournalist working with a local daily was thrashed by the security guards of Sheikh Tahir, an Ikhwani turned territorial army officer.
“Sheikh Mashooq, a local photojournalist was roughed up for his professional duties at the site of the attack,” they said.
