Restriction will continue in Srinagar on Monday; colleges, school will remain shut

Srinagar

Authorities have decided to impose restrictions in most of Srinagar city on Monday, a top official said.

Restrictions will continue in Khanyar, Nowhatta Safakadal, MR Gunj, Rainawari, Maisuma and Kralkhud police limits tomorrow as a precautionary measure, the official told Kashmir life on Sunday.

The authorities have decided to keep the Colleges and schools in District Srinagar closed for tomorrow.

Separatist leadership has called for two day valley wide shutdown against the killing of militant commander Sabzar Bhat, his aide Faizan and a civilian Aqib Ahmad.

Sabzar and his associate were killed in an encounter on Saturday in Saimu Village of Tral township. The encounter triggered protests across valley.
