Around four dozen trucks laden with goods on way to Muzzafarabad from Trade facilitation Centre Uri have been turned back after the officials failed to communicate with Pakistani Army, Police Officials said on Tuesday.
Police officials in Uri said that it appears the communication system on the other side is defunct.
Pertinently, the cross-loc bus also returned from Salamabad yesterday after the officials failed to establish contact to the counterparts on the other side of the LoC.
The situation on LoC is tense as the frequency of skirmishes between Indo-Pak armies has escalated for past couple of weeks.
